On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, the Harbor Area & South Bay YWCA presented Las Candalistas with the Golden Circle Award for ongoing support of the children's programs. Las Candlistas 2011-12 President, Ann Goodhart, and 2011-12 First Vice President, Janie Hasselman, accepted the award on behalf of the group.
